Porto Fluviale
ostienseTier: mid-range
A former army customs warehouse turned industrial-chic restaurant and aperitivo hall in Ostiense — a huge shared-plate menu spanning every Italian region, and one of the liveliest aperitivo spreads in the city.
The building was a genuine army customs warehouse before its conversion, and the industrial scale shows — it's one of the larger aperitivo spaces in Rome, which means it rarely feels as impossibly packed as smaller Trastevere or Monti bars can on a weekend. The shared-plates menu spans regions well beyond Rome, useful if your group wants variety rather than a single fixed Roman menu.
