Colosseo Sotterranei & Arena Floor Tour

Special-access tour down into the hypogeum — the underground tunnels where gladiators and animals waited before being raised onto the arena floor by a network of lifts and trapdoors. Small groups, limited daily slots.

This ticket requires a fixed entry time and a guide — you can't wander the hypogeum independently the way you can the main arena floor. Slots are limited and tend to release further ahead than standard Colosseum tickets, so book weeks rather than days ahead if a specific date matters. Photography is allowed but tripods generally aren't, given how narrow some of the tunnel sections are.
